You can delete your BigQTools account yourself at any time, on the website or in the app. You don’t need the app to do it. Deleting an account cannot be undone.
On the website
- Sign in with the Google, Facebook or Apple account you use for BigQTools.
- Open your account page and go to Security.
- Choose “Delete account”, type DELETE to confirm, and press Delete.
In the Android or iOS app
Open Account › Settings › Delete account and confirm. The app tells you first if you still have a plan bought through Google Play or the App Store.
Can’t sign in?
Email [email protected] from the address of your account, with “Delete account” in the subject. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours, and we delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- your linked sign-ins (Google, Facebook, Apple) and all your sessions; the Apple sign-in is revoked;
- your files and processing history (files are removed on their normal schedule, at the latest when their retention time ends);
- your API keys, notification tokens and settings;
- your name and email address, which are replaced with anonymous values.
What is kept, and for how long
- invoices and payment records, for as long as accounting and tax law requires (they are no longer linked to your name or email);
- technical records without file contents, only as long as needed to secure the service, as described in our Privacy Policy;
- emails you sent us, for as long as needed to answer them.
Your paid plan
- A plan bought on the website is cancelled immediately, without an automatic refund. If you are within 14 days of your first payment, ask for your refund before deleting (see our Refund Policy).
- A plan bought through Google Play is not cancelled: cancel it in Google Play (Google’s guide), or you will still be charged.
- A plan bought through the App Store is not cancelled: cancel it in your Apple account settings (Apple’s guide), or you will still be charged.
