Video to MP3 Video to MP3: pull the audio out in the right format
Extracting the sound cannot make it better than the original. Your job is to pick the format and bitrate that are just enough for how you will listen or what you will do next.
Compress video Compress video: smaller files that still look good
A video's size is its bitrate multiplied by its length. Lower resolution saves the most, trimming saves the most reliably, and the quality level fine-tunes the rest.

Features
Video to MP3 keeps just the sound of a video: a song from a performance clip, the voice of an online course or an interview to listen to on the road. Choose MP3 for the widest compatibility, M4A for good quality at a small size, or uncompressed WAV for further editing. Use it only with videos you have the right to use.
- Outputs MP3, M4A or uncompressed WAV.
- Three bitrates for MP3 and M4A: 128, 192 and 320 kbps.
- Accepts MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, FLV, WMV, 3GP and TS.
- Names are kept with the new extension, e.g. “song.mp4” becomes “song.mp3”.
- Send the result to Cut audio or Change volume without uploading again.
Frequently asked questions
Should I choose 192 or 320 kbps?
192 kbps is plenty for most music and speech. Pick 320 kbps if the video has high-quality sound and you listen on good headphones.
Can I extract audio from a YouTube link?
No. For copyright reasons BigQTools doesn’t download from YouTube, TikTok or Facebook. Use videos you own.
Why does it say the file has no audio?
Some videos, such as screen recordings made with the microphone off, have no audio track, so there is nothing to extract.
When should I use WAV?
WAV is uncompressed and keeps full quality for editing, but the files are many times larger than MP3.
