How to use Resize video in 3 steps

  1. Upload the video

Choose a video from your device, Google Drive or a direct link; MP4, MOV, MKV and more are supported.

  2. Choose the size

Select 1080p, 720p (default), 480p or 360p. With Custom, enter a width or a height and leave the other empty to keep the ratio.

  3. Resize and download

Press “Resize video”, download the MP4, save it to Google Drive or continue with Compress video.

Features

Resize video helps when a website or learning platform only accepts 720p uploads, or when a 4K phone video stutters on an older computer. Pick a preset or enter your own width or height; the aspect ratio is always kept and dimensions are rounded to even numbers for compatibility.

  • Presets for 1080p, 720p, 480p and 360p.
  • Custom size in pixels: enter just a width or a height.
  • Aspect ratio always kept, dimensions rounded to even numbers.
  • Audio is preserved and the result is an MP4 file.
  • Results get a “-doi-kich-thuoc” suffix, e.g. “intro-doi-kich-thuoc.mp4”.

Frequently asked questions

Will upscaling a small video to 1080p make it sharper?

No. Upscaling fills in pixels from the existing picture without adding detail, and the file gets bigger.

Why did my width change by one pixel?

Video encoders need even dimensions, so odd values are rounded to the nearest even number.

Does resizing reduce file size?

Lowering the resolution usually cuts the size a lot. If a small file is the main goal, Compress video adds quality levels too.

Should I enter both width and height?

Enter only one value to keep the exact proportions. Leave the other field empty and it is calculated from the video’s ratio.
