How to use PDF to image in 3 steps

  1. Upload the PDF

Click the upload box, drag the file in or paste it with Ctrl+V. Files from Google Drive and direct download links are supported too.

  2. Pick format and resolution

Choose JPG (the default, smaller files) or PNG (crisper text and lines), then 72, 150 or 300 DPI. 150 DPI is preselected and sharp enough for most uses.

  3. Convert and save the images

Click Convert to images, then download the image or ZIP, or save it to Google Drive. A single image can go straight to Compress image or Resize image with Continue.

Features

PDF to image saves each page of a PDF as a JPG or PNG picture, ready to post on social media, send in a chat app or drop into a slide. Pick 72, 150 or 300 DPI depending on whether the images are meant for screens or for print. A one-page PDF returns a single image, while a multi-page PDF arrives as a ZIP file.

  • Two formats: JPG for light, easy-to-share files and PNG for crisper text and line art.
  • Three resolutions: 72 DPI for screens, 150 DPI for everyday use and 300 DPI for print.
  • One page gives one image; several pages give a ZIP with an image for each page.
  • Keeps the file name: a one-page thiep-moi.pdf becomes thiep-moi.jpg.
  • Open the ZIP right on BigQTools by choosing Extract archive under Continue.
  • Free, with no account and no logo stamped on the exported images.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose JPG or PNG?

JPG keeps files small for messaging and social media. PNG keeps text and fine lines crisper, which suits documents and drawings, but the files are larger.

Which DPI should I use?

72 DPI is fine for on-screen viewing, 150 DPI is sharp enough for most uses and 300 DPI is meant for printing. For example, an A4 page becomes roughly 1240 × 1754 px at 150 DPI and 2480 × 3508 px at 300 DPI.

Why did I get a ZIP file?

When a PDF has two or more pages, the images are bundled into one ZIP so you can download them at once. If your phone struggles with ZIP files, press Continue and choose Extract archive to download each image separately.

Can I convert just one page?

The tool exports every page. If you only need a few, keep them first with Split PDF or Delete PDF pages, then convert that smaller file.
