How to use Convert image in 3 steps

  1. Add your images

    Drop up to 20 images on the page, or pick them from your device, Google Drive or a direct link. Mixed formats are fine.

  2. Choose the output format

    Pick JPG (default), PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP or TIFF. The hint under the buttons explains what each format is good for.

Frequently asked questions

Should I use WebP or AVIF for my website?

Both are lighter than JPG at similar quality. AVIF is usually smaller still but needs a modern browser; WebP is the safer choice when wide support matters.

Why does my PNG get a white background as JPG?

JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. Choose PNG, WebP or AVIF to keep them transparent.

Will converting a JPG to PNG make it sharper?

No. PNG preserves what the JPG already contains but cannot restore lost detail, and the PNG file is often larger.

What happens to an animated GIF converted to JPG?

A JPG holds a single still frame, so the animation is lost. Keep GIF or WebP if you need the motion.
