Features

Crop video trims the edges of the frame to change the aspect ratio, for example turning a 16:9 landscape video into a 9:16 vertical clip for TikTok or Reels, or a 4:5 frame for Instagram posts. Preset ratios always crop from the center; Custom lets you choose the exact area to keep in pixels.

  • Preset 1:1, 9:16, 16:9 and 4:5 ratios cropped from the center.
  • Custom mode with X, Y, width and height in pixels.
  • The audio track is kept in the result.
  • MP4 output ready for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts.
  • Results get a “-cat-khung” suffix, e.g. “vlog-cat-khung.mp4”.

Frequently asked questions

How is cropping different from trimming?

Cropping removes picture area at the edges to change the ratio, while Trim video removes time from the start or end.

Will a landscape video look stretched in 9:16?

No. The sides are cut away instead of stretching the picture, so the center of the video is kept.

What if my subject is not in the center?

Choose Custom and move X and Y to the area with your subject. You can find the video’s dimensions in its file details on your device.

Does cropping make the file smaller?

Usually, because there is less picture to store. For an even lighter file, continue to Compress video.
