Features
Add page numbers puts page numbers on your PDF, which is useful for theses, reports, tender documents and files merged from several sources. Choose one of 6 positions at the top or bottom, a style of “1”, “Trang 1” (Vietnamese for “Page 1”) or “1/10”, and the starting number, for example 25 when a second chapter continues the count.
- 6 positions: top left, top center, top right, bottom left, bottom center and bottom right.
- 3 styles: a plain “1”, “Trang 1” for Vietnamese documents, or “1/10” with the total page count.
- Start at any whole number from 1 upward to continue numbering across separate parts.
- The numbered copy keeps your file name plus -danh-so, e.g. essay.pdf becomes essay-danh-so.pdf.
- No watermark or logo is added, only the page numbers you set up.
Frequently asked questions
Can numbering start from a number other than 1?
Yes. Enter a value in “Start at”, such as 25, and the first page of the file shows 25 with the following pages counting up.
What does the 1/10 style look like?
Each page shows its number and the total page count, so page 3 of a 10-page document reads 3/10.
How do I number a document made of several files?
Combine the files with Merge PDF, then continue straight to Add page numbers. The numbers run continuously through the whole merged document.
Can I change the font or size of the numbers?
The tool currently lets you choose the position, style and start number. “Trang 1” suits Vietnamese documents, while “1/10” tells readers the total page count.
