Features

Change video speed turns long screen recordings or lectures into shorter watches, makes a sunset clip feel like a timelapse, or slows a goal down so you can see every move. Pick anything from 0.25× to 4×; the audio is stretched or squeezed to the same speed while voices keep their natural pitch.

  • Eight speeds from 0.25× to 4×.
  • Audio changes speed with the video while keeping its pitch.
  • Duration changes to match, e.g. 2× halves the length.
  • Accepts MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM and AVI; outputs MP4.
  • Results get a “-toc-do” suffix, e.g. “lecture-toc-do.mp4”.

Frequently asked questions

Will voices sound squeaky when sped up?

No. The audio changes speed but keeps its pitch, so people simply talk faster.

How long is a 10-minute video at 2×?

About 5 minutes. The new length is the original length divided by the speed you choose.

Can I change the speed of just one part?

The tool applies one speed to the whole video. Cut out that part first with Trim video, then change its speed.

Is 1.5× good for watching lectures?

Yes. 1.25× to 1.5× usually stays easy to follow while saving a lot of time.
