Frequently asked questions
How do I get a blue background, like on an ID photo?
Type a blue code in Background colour, for example #0066CC for a medium blue, or pick the exact shade in the colour picker. Check the colour and size the office asks for: this page changes the background only, so crop the photo to the required frame afterwards with Crop image.
Can I put a picture or scenery behind the subject instead of a colour?
Not on this page: it fills the background with one flat colour. For a picture behind the subject, choose Transparent, download the PNG and place it over your picture in any photo editor.
Does the subject keep its shadow?
No. The new background is a flat colour with no shadow under the subject, which is what most shops and forms want. If you need a shadow, add it afterwards in a photo editor.
Which white is used by default?
Pure white, #FFFFFF, which many marketplaces ask for on product photos. Change the code if you need an off-white or a light grey instead.
