Add the image
Drop the image on the page, choose it from your device or Google Drive, or paste a direct download link. One image per run.

Pick an aspect ratio
Choose 1:1 (default), 4:3, 3:4, 16:9 or 9:16 for a centered crop, or Custom to enter left X, top Y, width and height in pixels.

Press “Crop image”, then download the result, save it to Google Drive or continue to Compress image without uploading again.

Does cropping reduce image quality?
The part you keep is not scaled down. The image only gets smaller in dimensions because the area outside the frame is removed.
How do I find the X and Y values for a custom crop?
X is the distance from the left edge and Y from the top edge, both in pixels. Check positions in any image viewer on your device before typing them in.
Can I make a square crop that is not centered?
Yes. Choose Custom, enter the same width and height, then set X and Y to the area you want to keep.
Can I crop several images at once?
This tool crops one image at a time so you stay in control of the frame. To resize up to 20 images in one go, use Resize image.
