Cómo usar Cambiar velocidad del audio en 3 pasos

  1. Add a recording or song

    Drag the file onto the page or tap to choose it on your phone or computer. Google Drive files and direct download links are fine too.

  2. Choose the speed

    Speed is set to 1.25× by default; pick 0.5× or 0.75× to slow down, 1.5× or 2× to speed up. The output format defaults to MP3.

  3. Change speed and save

    Click Change speed, then download the result or save it to Google Drive. You can send it on to Cut audio or Change volume without re-uploading.

Características

Change audio speed makes a file play faster or slower, with five steps from 0.5× to 2×. Students use it to review lectures and podcasts in less time, or to slow down dialogue and songs for listening practice. FFmpeg’s atempo filter keeps the pitch, so voices don’t turn squeaky or deep the way they do on a sped-up tape.

  • Five speeds: 0.5×, 0.75×, 1.25× (default), 1.5× and 2×.
  • Pitch stays the same thanks to the atempo filter: no chipmunk voices when faster, no drawl when slower.
  • Length scales with speed: a 60-minute lecture lasts 40 minutes at 1.5× and 80 minutes at 0.75×.
  • Opens MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, WMA, Opus, AMR, M4R, AIFF and WebM; saves as MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG or M4R.
  • The new file is named with “-toc-do” added, for example “podcast-12-toc-do.mp3”.
  • Files are removed 2 hours after upload, or at once when you click “Delete now”.

Preguntas frecuentes

Does speeding up make voices sound squeaky?

No. The atempo filter changes only the tempo, so the pitch stays where it was. At 2× speech feels rushed but still sounds like the same person.

Is there a 1.75× or 3× option?

There are five fixed speeds: 0.5×, 0.75×, 1.25×, 1.5× and 2×. If you need to change the speed of a video, Change video speed also offers 0.25×, 3× and 4×.

Will slowing a song down change its key?

No. At 0.5× or 0.75× the song plays slower but stays in the same key, so you can practice singing or playing along without drifting from the original.

How long will the new file be?

Divide the original length by the speed: a 30-minute file becomes 24 minutes at 1.25×, 15 minutes at 2× and 60 minutes at 0.5×.
